If the program takes a hit for a year, or even two, because of transfers, then so be it. We've got a quality staff on hand, a ball park that few programs can match, and tradition. We'll be fine.
Oh, we've also relieved ourselves of a wingnut-circle-of-confidence loon.

Remember, GG said he had 400 calls from girls wanting to come here. I saw him and assistant coaches at basketball game. Went to talk to him. He was on the phone recruiting.
You need to grow thicker skin, perhaps, about "administrations". They are not the owners. They are the paid custodians. You are one of the owners. It's very common to be mad at the custodians. They pretend on a daily basis to "own" what they keep clean and presentable to us.
PS For us, the owners, it has everything to do with students and students that are athletes. They are new owners. Don't be shy about coming back to the fold. I think whether you admit it or not... it's the latest softball program shakeup that has you sore. It's not about the head coach or the admin. They'll come and go. You are a life owner. You never quit... you just take a break. See you back when your wound heals.
Just let him go. If little things like this make him curl up his tail and leave, I say sayonara.
