This didn't happen.
Apparently you listened to the segment, yet you want to change the conversation.
Maybe you should stay on task, my friend.
This thread is about what he said in that segment and I heard it clearly. He stated someone dropped the ball in the athletic department. Now knowing who his information comes from 99% of the time, I'm guessing or speculating whom that person might be in the athletic department that he has suggested dropped the ball. So with his statement that someone has dropped the ball, the conversation is directed to the identity of whom may be that person.
That is completely on task sir, but thanks for the lecture. Now I patiently await your lecture to those including Jay Walker that have come on this web site and said people are lying or full of crap. Now you can return to your daily listening habits.

Monkee, with all due respect, the thread is not limited to today's BEV segment. It is about lack of transparency and lack of effort by the university and athletic administrations.
Re: Announcement from Administration about the Tigue
Use your speculation brain to ask questions. What would cause Jay to do a 180? Could someone be fired soon?

You would hope so, but don't wait for it.
Re: Announcement from Administration about the Tigue
Well....on the lighter side, The University of Louisiana at Lafayette would like to announce that the Cajun Field Phase 2 project has been pushed to 2025.
Thank you all for playing. LOL!
Re: Announcement from Administration about the Tigue
Jay doesn't have epiphanies he has a new source. I speculate.
Re: Announcement from Administration about the Tigue
No... This is going to Dove tail into the "announcement". Jim is going to get the shaft.
And I'm here to tell you.. Jim Harris is the LAST name that should be mentioned. Just pay attention everyone.. Look at the pattern..

This is what I'm fearing. Maybe we'll have a new AD by then that can actually manage a construction project.

Has Tony turned in his resignation yet?

The apologists are all lost now that their leader has bailed on them.
Re: Announcement from Administration about the Tigue
Jay took us all down a few days ago. The only thing he didn't do was use our names. Personally I like the guy. As a mouthpiece for his boys, he leaves a lot to be desired. I'm sorry, the last 3 weeks have been bullshirt! Expect Hillary to be indicted before the right people at UL are cut loose. If Harris is shown the door, he needs to throw all these ____ers under the bus. My university has become a clown show

So all of a sudden there is a problem.
I wonder who will be thrown under the bus.
I am the faceless buffoon!

That would be one of the most awesome ideas ever. Let Section A haggle the other team from right behind the plate while smoke from the pits blows wild across the field and beer flows free. It would definitely be the most unique college baseball experience anywhere.
Re: Announcement from Administration about the Tigue
Can someone please fill me in on what was announced today? All I can gather from this is that someone dropped the ball and maybe the money isn't there anymore. Are we not getting a stadium? Are they going to have to fill in the concrete they broke? What's up?

No, it's now entering silent phase 2, to be followed by silent phase 3, and so on. Maybe after silent phase 43 they can announce the plans and drawings and have a start date for construction. Then as constructions nears...we'll all learn that we only had $8M for a $65M project!!! :D
But it won't matter anyway all of the die hard fans will be long gone!

Keep Section A in Section A. They serve a purpose but I prefer to keep my distance.
