Re: WBB: Louisiana Edged Out By Marshall in Defensive Skirmish
Arkansas State beats JMU in OT 86-79. A massive crowd of 847 in attendance.
Other than Title IX, anyone wish to justify this expense? Who is making the money at the end of the day?

It also doesn't help attendance to play the game at 1pm on a Monday.

A big part of the problem is that WBB in the SBC since MT, Little Rock and WKU left has largely been horrible. It is understandable that the Caitlan Clarks and JuJu Watkins type players aren't coming to SBC schools, but there is no excuse for the dumpster fire that is SBC WBB [only 4 of the 14 teams are in the top 1/2 of NET rankings, only 1 in the top 100]. There is a whole lot of don't caring going on in AD's offices around the SBC when it comes to hoops in general [MBB has 4 of 14 in top half of NET, 2 in the top 100].

And the SBC’s one top 100 NET women’s team will be sitting at home come selection Sunday. Just like the men’s only top 100.
