If this is all that we have to show compared to LA Tech using it on their helmets since I can remember you have proven my point.
The 50 yard line logo is usually the main logo of the University. It may have not been on the Uniform but it has been part of the signage back in the day. I am sure it wasnt just on the 50 yard line.
That’s another thing why do people think only Tech uses it? Even ULM uses it, LSU uses it, Northwestern St., Southeastern, Tech plus the Saints. I mean that is 6 teams that have some type of signage when it comes to the state.
If we are Louisiana why wouldnt we use it? Tech is not the only one that uses it. Even in one of the threads LSU had it on there 50 yard line.

Now that you have pointed out that ULM already uses it I’m on board 100%.

Re: Athletics Solutions Releases Ragin' Cajuns Adidas NIL Replica Football Jersey
Do you think us having the FDL is a good logo?
I mean it was smart because it is like the universal logo for a company, brand, team from Louisiana. It is easily recognizable.
The state naturally fits if we are Louisiana. Its not like a red herring that only Tech uses, its a very recognizable symbol. Tech did great with adopting it.
Look at the G for Green Bay, Georgia, Grambling. We can have a different version of the same logo, and it is not thr same logo, if we added the script Cajuns to the state it looks great and identifies who we are. Louisiana Ragin Cajuns, its the entire package rolled into one.
Its like saying we cant use a A logo because Arkansas and Alabama have an A as a logo. Or cant use a T because Tennessee, Texas, Troy uses it. That USC cant have that because Southern Cal, and South Carolina uses it.
What about Carolina? North Carolina and South Carolina uses it. What about M cant use that both Missouri and Maryland use that logo.
This is not directed at any one individual, dont think that, this is just my response for a person telling me we cant use the state because Tech or cant use the FDL because the Saints use it.
If it fits our branding then lets use it.
Think Arkansas is laying back thinking we shouldnt use the A because Alabama uses it? Are they going to trap themselves in that box? Rant off!
I respect everyone’s opinion i am sure alot of people dont agree with me. I get it, sorry i dont want to think this is directly pointed at a person this is just my personal opinion on this matter and alot of people probably not going to agree. Thats fine we are entitled to our opinions
Just for fun who logos are these? Yall get the second one but whats the first one? They are even the same color!

What I really like about this is that there's other options like the coaches shirts available. Plus, shirts for all sports.

Wait till you see what I came up with for the Tigue.
Matter of fact, will potentially work for Lamson as well, gotta look into it.

Unbelievable.
Was at the mall the other day. Stopped at Lids. They had 6 types of Cajun hats. 5 of those hats had lafayette written on it.
Someone needs to explain to us how that can happen, and why is that even an option?

Its incredible. We've been saying this now since we became ULALA. Day one, fall semester, 99 - Business 101, Professor "We are no longer USL, we are now OoohLaLa." Improvement? Hell I say it was actually a regression.
Louisiana. Est. 1898. No "Lafayette on the branding guidelines. Remove it today." Do so and make gains. Do it not and this is what we have.
Remove Lafayette today, forever. Not tomorrow, Today.
