Looked like the double squeeze was on in the 9th. Hard break at third for Pastore, think the throw pulling the pitcher off the bag towards the infield killed it. Worked out, story book ending for Jose’.

Shades of the UCI win on Friday a couple of years ago. They were ranked, but Wright State was a better team.

Even if we’d lost, it was a good match up. An error would have been the difference.

Also, winning a game when Debo and JT combine to go 0/8 is a good sign. You know those guys are gonna hit.

Pitching and defense!! Good Friday baseball.

Aside from the LF error that led to a run, defense was flawless.

What I really liked was 4 of the 5 arms they used tonight were challenging hitters. That was good, and refreshing, to see.
