When I was in school if they had done this we would have responded with the biggest booze-fest in school history.
If this heat doesn’t break by next Saturday, none of this will matter. Even the hardcore experienced tailgater will have a tough time hanging out on the asphalt consuming adult beverages.
The freshmen are the least of their concerns if the heat continues. The freshman are just the easiest demographic to police. This could have still been handled to protect the freshmen without the Darth Vader approach. It’s how you word the message.
Damn proud GDI here...me and my crew never, ever missed a home game...we made our own fun, didn't need some campus org to tell us how, why, when...

Seems "tailgating" at the frat house would be better than having two spots. Thus leaving the parking lot tailgate more open for freshmen?
P.s. how do they know who is a freshman and who isn't, tell them don't bring the red folder with map on the back to the tailgate
