My hope is that this is a competitive game such that Miami is forced to use their elite closer, Andrew Walters ... and that he is either not available tomorrow ... or does not have his best stuff.
Texas leads 4-0 B3rd as Miami has twice left the bases loaded.

Is a courtesy runner allowed for an injured player, allowing the starter to return later?
I always thought once you leave a game you could not reenter?
When the umpire believes it necessary to protect player safety yes. Not sure if the rule still exist but there used to be a rule that would allow the starting catcher to reenter the game after an injury as well.Quote:
