This is where I’m at right now, with my unprofessional viewpoint.

Camels putting it on poor Tulane. 17-2.
Greenies struggling this year and about to be 2-11. Ouch.

I only got to see them on the + as we were in Pensacola, but they sure passed the eye test.
I think we showed quite a bit of promise, we just aren't where they are (yet, I hope)!

Campbell dominates at the plate. Not as much on the mound, but with that offense they have enough pitching to get by most teams.
Re: BB G1: Louisiana 2, Campbell 5
I saw a clip from the 9th inning of their game against Tulane. And the Camels had a big lefty on the mound that hit 100 mph on one of his pitches. And he never saw the mound in Lafayette
I’m guessing, since he was out there for the 9th in a 17-2 game, that he likely has a hard time commanding 100 mph, but he definitely has it.

We had one of those. He wound up leaving for the draft to see if the minors could help.

I once heard a minor league player say there are more 100mph pitchers in A ball than any other league (including the majors.) Anyone who can throw that hard gets signed immediately and thrown into A ball, but most of them never figure out how to to control it.
I get it though. I couldn’t control my 72mph fastball.
