This coaching staff needs to be more aggressive and put the hammer down in the 4th qtr. If we get beat, so be it, but not because of playing not to lose.
I have to admit, I don't agree with some of your points, but on this I do. I don't think the play calling is/was aggressive enough in those games.
Re: What are our reasonable expectations
my concern with this team is getting outcoached late in games. We had a good game plan in the first half vs ULM up 17-7, good game plan vs USA tied 7-7 at the half and good game plan vs Troy at the half up 17-0.
My issue is that it appears that late in the game our game plan is to try to just hold on. We get outplayed late in games, I don't know if it conditioning or coaching but it has been ugly late in games. You can add the Rice game to that as well.

Unless there is a lightening delay in which case we make amazing adjustments and dominate afterwards.

JMO I'm tired of the talent loss excuse. Rice is the only team that punched us in the mouth, we were in all the other games until our coaching staff didn't anymore clues. This team may not be as talented as last year but we had enough talent to win the west. We got what we paid for. JMO

You hate the hire. We hear you. Now let’s move on.

No, he works best in lightning
Re: What are our reasonable expectations
Reasonable expectation is to win 2 of last 3 and go bowling. Next year, back to winning regularly. 8 wins a year minimum.

It appears to be a combination of the two. It appears to be a strategic inability to answer the other teams defensive adjustments as well as stamina on offense & lack of stamina on defense at times, but also mental break downs as well. It's really a stew of calamities mixed with getting out physicaled when the money is on the line. My concern is it appears we have the talent to overcome most of these calamities, but haven't done that. Will that level of talent always reside here?

Universities all around the country do indeed worship at the alter of wokeness, and that is one of the main reasons they're seeing a reduction in the amount of support they receive from their local communities. Many people say they're done with supporting higher education in any way until this insane wokeness crap at universities ends, and I am one of them. I tell them to get back to me when they once again know the difference between a man and a woman.

You are correct, Sir. My children and my money will only go to universities grounded in reality. I have no allegiance to any institution that professes lies.
Also, this is a big reason why the RCAF needs to be independent from the university. The entire education model of this country is a train wreck. In the future, many communities will turn to a morphed version of the European club model for athletics. Local privatization of funding. Only loosely tethered to any education establishment.
We are seeing the beginning of this with the NIL stuff.
