That's the problem. Texas was still Texas when UL played them. UL didn't have any real game tape on Sarkesian & their QB. UL plays Texas in November instead of September & UL is 14-0 & CFPukes would have had to rank them high enough to play a P-5 in new year's eve, or New year's bowl game. However the New Orleans bowl is great. Louisiana will get to showcase themselves in front of a big crowd & beat up a non P-5 opponent.

By that time everybody knows everybody & the attrition of playing has taken it's toll. It makes that game much more interesting. I hope Louisiana never plays another Georgia, or Alabama to start a season again.

I get what everyone's saying, but if I'm Coach Des, I'm looking to make an example out of a half-@$$ed Marshall team to garner some style points with the pollsters. Run up a 3 to 4 - score lead in the first half and then see how many players can get PT in the second half!! .~..~..~.
