Whose expectations? Bazar was signed as a "project" from day 1. Cajuns have the luxury of giving him time to develop slowly because of the stellar pitching of Lee, Moore, Bacon, and Charpentier.

Bazar just needs to keep improving his command. Also, he's in the same boat with some of these other guys (pitchers and field players) who just havent seen as much time due to a light midweek schedule early on. He will start seeing more time with these midweek games coming. When he gets out there just needs to show he can avoid walks and wild pitches
