You could not possibly be more wrong. THE conference we MUST dominate if we want to move up the national perceptiion pecking order is the MAC. The best way to do that is to kick their collective asses in bowl games.

Houston or Dallas is much more attractive than Shreveport.

Houston will not be available.
Nation doesn't want to play a MAC school, so he doesn't want Mobile.

The Iberville Projects Bowl is more attractive than Shreveport.

I think there's virtually no chance of a major conference member. Those that fit the footprint either have both sides open...or...we would be replacing the major conference member.
As VO mentioned, Houston is not going to be open.
And, this is our second bowl bid. I'm not going to start squawking about where we are or who we play. We've got a ways to go before suggesting something might be beneath us.
So, how is Rosie, anyway? Good experience???

I will squawk if it is Detroit for the day after Christmas, or Hawaii. I will still buy a couple of tickets, but no way I can make either of those.
BOP, I don't think Nation stands a chance with Rosie. He can't pass the physical.
Re: So, Where To, Cajuns?
BOP....if we get to 8-4, and Ark State wins the conference....where do you peg our odds of playing in New Orleans?

100%. Ark State goes to Liberty or Go-Daddy.
