With so many high schools in Frisco, it's not a bad opportunity for the Cajuns brand in DFW.
Lots of former Cajuns are coaches within their school system.
That would be a great draw. Location and recruiting wise. A bigger footprint in the DFW metro would be huge.

I’m honestly done with the NOLA Bowl for a good while. It’s becoming embarrassing how much we play in it. Like literally all the “casual fans” constantly mention how “this is the only Bowl game UL can get so why even become a supporter.”

And those same fans complain when UL is sent to DFW and it’s too far away to travel or it’s too cold to go to a game in late December not in a dome

No…I’m talking about fans that don’t travel to a damn thing. You are talking about regular fans. I’m basically referring to all the Louisiana alumni or Lafayette residents that support TSAB.

So 75% of them?

For selfish reasons, I'd love the Indy Bowl against Utah. Even though I froze my tail off, I really enjoyed the game vs. Houston. I'd love to do it again since I only live about 20 minutes away.

Yup…and we need to change that perception and get them back. Going to NOLA every other year ain’t gonna work. The SBC desperately needs to improve our Bowl tie-ins.
Re: 10/21/24 - Bowl Projects
My wife and I went to the Indy Bowl in Shreveport 2 yrs ago. It was bone chilling cold. The experience was so bad that she will not go to a game in late Dec again unless it’s in an enclosed stadium. I’d much rather play in the Superdome, but not against crappy CUSA. They need to open up that game to better competition since CUSA is a bottom feeder.

You know its kinda weird. There was this other conference with similar or maybe even the same initials that everyone screamed bloody murder about us trying to get into. I wonder what ever happened to them?
Re: 10/21/24 - Bowl Projects
If there is a conference with USA in title, i am surprised the champion of that conference doesnt have claim to the title of national champion.
