App St @ Louisiana Score Prediction Thread

Just spitballing, but a few of top 25 teams lost today. Mich. state at 25, oki state at 21 lost. Minnesota won and they were on the verge. UNC won. Other teams on the verge won though. Here’s to hoping App makes it I’m the top 25.

Highly unlikely, but hey.

It’s not going to happen, but can you imagine a day where UL played a meaningful home game against a conference opponent?

The first App was the game where Hud “jumped the shark”. They came in here and handed it to us. The inability to close the deal (outright title) isn’t the main thing that turns people off UL football, but it is a bitter pill for some. It’s more like Lucy pulling the football out on Charlie Brown.

So yeah, this game isn’t for a championship, but it sure is a meaningful step with a win.

Man, if we hold them to 20 this will be a very special season. Once again I’m cautiously optimistic about this game. I think both teams score in the mid to high 30’s. I can’t wait for Wednesday!

I'm no expert, but I truly believe this defense is the best we have seen and are getting better each week. In my opinion what everyone is missing is we will control the clock with our run game therefore keeping App's offense off the field. Hard to score if you don't have ball. Now we can't turn the ball over giving them a short field. Also we need to score touchdowns not field goals.

Just my non-professional opinion.

It's the best tackling defense I can remember seeing from us. It's also the first defense that I can remember where I'm not scared of getting torched with underneath routes.
