LOUISIANA 2016-17 Basketball Predictions

Mike, I know you try man......let it go

This basketball team will be hard to watch. The last few years have been hard to watch with two NBA talents on the team. We are at best a mid-tier Southland team.

I'm almost 20 years removed from my playing days, but I could make this team in a heartbeat.....

Thanks Mike, I'm probably guilty from time to time but I never really understood exaggerating things on purpose especially negativity.

I am not trying to promote anything other than FACTS. I also make no predictions on how this team will do as there are so many new guys. You may be right in that we will be a mid tier Southland team but there is no way to know that at this stage. Last year we destroyed the 2nd best team in that league (a 22 win Sam Houston club) in the CIT.

I don't believe in exaggerating anything whether it be negative or positive. I deal with reality.

Yep thanks for being a voice of reason. We have more than enough whiners, ______ers and complainers. Sometimes I just want to say shut the f up. Dont support the team, the program or the coach, whatever but damn, just shut up.
I choose to support the student-athletes who are representing this university.

You're not supporting them in a meaningful way. Accepting this ____ poor AD, and coaching makes you an enabler.

I prefer to watch the players play before I decide if they are any good or not; but that is just me.

I think this will be a pretty salty team as there is no one outstanding player and some nice depth.

Let's at least let them practice a little before we call them bad.

I get that you have issues with Marlin. I am not a huge fan of his coaching but he is the coach of the program right now. I dont think I have ever cheered for a coach but I cheer my ___ off for the players. So basically FU for saying I am not supporting the kids. Does your support stop at _____ing and moaning about EVERYTHING on a message board? Is your way of supporting the program staying home and sulking about our AD? Do what you think is right and I will do what I think is right.

I think this will be a fun team to watch. I think you will see a level of grit, hustle and effort that, as a basketball fan, I enjoy.

You challenged everyone who are doing their best to get change. You're an enabler. So am I. But at least I'm protesting. And yes I'd tell Marlin, FarmerBROWN, and t-jo what I think of them, and how they're doing their job.

Marlin's consistently put together a very weak OOC schedule. So when Mike lists facts he should include that.

I don't know what this team is capable of. On paper, seems like a .500 record would be a big accomplishment.

HOW-EV-AH..

I think the expectations being extremely low is an interesting thing with this team. I agree that this team will have to exist only as a unit in order to have any success at all, and that might actually produce some good results.

Bryce is healthy, Stove really came on last year, Jay Wright moving to the 2.. There are some interesting things to be seen.
