If he played basketball, I know him. I played for CHS way back then. Like him, I was the short guy nobody believed could play basketball.

Most people don't even know why CHS is called that, since it's been coed so long. I actually went when it was stil all boys (a true Pecker Tech!)....the girls came our Sophmore year when Mt. Carmel (Cherry High) closed.

Look at this thread. Please refer to the team in Monroe as ULM.

They do not want to be called UL-Monroe, LA-Monroe, or Louisiana-Monroe. LOL. For now on I will call them ULM.

Ahh, more "do as I say, not as I do" hypocracy from the WarTarps.

I will honor their wishes to be called ULM as soon as they honor our wishes to be called "Louisiana".

Until then, they are the WarTarps, LaMe-Os, WarHoax, Moan-roe, etc.

I have no problem calling them ULM being that is what they want to be called, as they should have no problem calling us what we want to be called "Louisiana".

Call them ULM. The more entrenched they become in the reference THEY WANT, the easier it will be for us to capture the UL and Louisiana name. That is, if we don't continue to get more and more entrenched ourselves in the UL Lafayette and Louisiana-Lafayette names.
