Exactly. One could also make the case for the added disambiguation with ULM was to stir the hornet's nest even more. For the longest time they were always ULM...I think this year is when ULAMON started popping up.

Douglas, that was exactly the driving force for the original push for a name change. This was happening in the academic circles maybe more so than athletics. That was why Ray was involved in the original push.
