To take this a step further. How many of you guys had that "dream girl" you always wanted to date in high school? Then you grew up and she ballooned out to 250+ or got hooked on crack and went down to 90 pounds. Either way you realized your adolescent dream was a grown up nightmare. Well fellas. I just described Mississippi State to you.

I see your point. Only a genius wants a guaranteed butt whipping at the hands of Alabama, LSU, Texas A & M, and Auburn every single season. Not to mention having the fight of your life to beat Ole Miss, and even Vandebilt every so often. I'm sure Hud's thinking boy give me some of that with one hand tied behind my back.
At 250-400K/year I take my as whippings and the money. At a million a year, no thanks, somebody else can live the dream.

That's fine. You're welcome to believe what you want. It won't change what's being done.

Dude, let's be honest here, you have been a mouthpiece for T-Joe and Farmer since day one. Not once have you been critical of this athletic department. This administration has done some great things, but don't fool yourself they have F'd up more than they have advanced this program.
I seriously doubt that the end zone will be ready for the start of the season. The expansion to the IPF should begin right now AS IT IS THE SINGULAR MOST IMPORTANT PROJECT IN REGARDS TO RECRUITING THAT IS INCLUDED IN THE MASTER PLAN! It won't be ready for three years.
As a complete program we need to do 4 things as quickly as possible. When I say that I mean within the next 4 years.
1. Immediately pass a student fee for athletics at a rate of $12 per credit hour capped off at 12 hours for full time students and $6 per credit hour for part time students. Grad students are exempt.
2. Begin and complete construction on the Athletic Center! Words can not begin to describe the impact this will have on recruiting future student athletes for all sports as well as coaches.
3. Begin and COMPLETE construction of both upper decks to increase the revenue through suites and capacity to 40-50k. ( I prefer around 43-46k)
4. Begin and complete the renovation to Tigue Moore!

You give me too much credit. I do not...I can not...speak for (mouthpiece=spokesman) Joseph Savoie or Scott Farmer. I am, for the most part, a vocal supporter of their actions, mainly because I am in agreement with most of the things they do. But if you want something critical, fine, I'll give you two things of which I have expressed my displeasure to them.
1. The change in the public address announcing in the Monroe game. I accepted the reason for the change, but not the timing. I actually don't agree with the reasoning, but I see the reason for their acceptance. It could have waited one more game, if for no other reason, than to put to rest any doubts that the administration is fully supportive of this initiative and will not back down from anyone.
2. Prayer at the games. Invocations have been given at games for decades. That practice was stopped earlier this year. So called "political correctness" aggravates me. There is no reason why we should not have prayer at the games.
You are entitled to your opinion. You can believe that T-Joe and Scott have done more harm than good, I'm just glad that some of the creatures on this board are in no position to make decisions for this university or this athletic department.
I don't disagree with the actions you want taken immediately, I hope all four of those things come to pass. I look forward to the money coming in soon for everything to be accomplished in the timing everyone wants.

If you cave one week later you are still caving.

Hell. I thought you were T-Joe's ghost writer. That or Jay Walker's alternate ego. How is it you are so privy to SO MUCH inside information no one else seems to be privy to. I mean wouldn't it be a good idea for raising money if the administration let those with deep pockets n on just a little of the inide info you seem to have at your disposal. I have't read anything anywhere concerning some of the claims you've made lately. You have to have to work in the IT department. Because it sounds as though you have access to T-Joe's and Scotty's private emails.
Re: Another year under HUD
Know this about the Mississippi State football situation.
Dan Mullen has led them to 4 straight Bowl games.
That has never been done before in Starkville. The closest was 2 in a row.
As of right now, he is the most successful head coach they have ever had. At the same time, they are in the toughest division of the toughest conference in the country.
What about that says they are about to change head coaches?
