Not everyone has a Ruston education. We all saw it in broad daylight. Nice try, though.
Spot on ... and is one of the reasons why it was likely a Sun Belt team was going to be left out. That is, on Sunday the Independence Bowl had their second spot open. But one spot was already occupied by a Sun Belt team. The Indy Bowl needed to ensure that they were not stuck with a choice of Western Kentucky or Middle Tennessee. That would have been a disaster. I wish Brando would have offered this in defense of the Indy Bowl.

Not only that, but he's on record nationally saying the Liberty Bowl was disengenuous (his word, not mine). Basically said they strung him and Wac commish along the whole time.
So, to sum up:
They're going to go wherever the hell CUSA tells them from now on.
They have almost no chance of getting an at-large bid in any bowl in the next 10 years, unless the bowl has no other options.
I'd say these interviews were a bad idea, bro.

I will start the over/under on how many days from their decision (Saturday) till Van Helsing has to resign; I say 7 days (this Saturday) is the bet and I go UNDER!
The winner gets free beer on Friday at the concert in New Orleans! For one hour, not all day!
Trust me, you don't want me taking advantage of your one hour offer. Lol.

NOT EVERYONE can be as smart as a CAJUN FAN! You've just got to accept that and move on! :)

Ya see Moore? I knew nathan, and some of the fellas around his age were gonna call you on this. Oh well, if you win/lose, I will chip in to help with your bar tab.

You sayin' I screwed up?
I'll be glad to help a fellow CAJUN even if it costs my RCAF donation for next year! Last year it was tough getting a few beers all night at Champions Square ... do you think they are already stocking up the bars for us!
GEAUX CAJUNS!
Re: La. Tech AD on Tim Brando: Quotes
Same lines from him, blaming everyone but HIMSELF!

I will be glad to help as well.
Champion's square was bad Moore, but I had to take about a half a mile hike to find a beer in the Dome at around the third. Now to be fair to the Dome, I was sitting close to the students.

Bottom line: GET READY 'CAUSE WE'RE COMING BACK!
Re: La. Tech AD on Tim Brando: Quotes
Here's something else I don't understand. The Liberty Bowl said they'd take you (Tech) no matter what, then why didn't they just invite you and you accept? Or did you tell them, "Hold on. I'm going to see if somebody prettier than you asks me out" like you did with the I-Bowl?
Don't you realize how disrespectful and cocky that is? But then again, in your own words, that's "the logical next step."
