Homecoming activities for UL kick off Saturday with a triathlon offering a running start to the university's annual celebration that culminates on game day, Oct. 20.
This year's theme is "Rockin' with the Cajuns."
Saturday - 7:30 a.m. triathlon at the Student Aquatic Center at Bourgeois Hall on campus. For more details, visit

Sunday - Homecoming Mass at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Wisdom on campus. Student spirit displays on view from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. in front of Dupré Library.
Monday - 11:45 a.m. cake giveaway and spirit banner signing at the Student Union. Faculty and residence hall decorating contest judging at 2 p.m. Free game tickets if order Ragin' Cajun lunch special from Gallaghers.

Oct. 19 - 7:30 a.m. Homecoming Tennis Tournament. Call 482-0900. Paint the Town Red Schools contest. University Wind Ensemble homecoming concert at Angelle Hall at 7:30 p.m. Free admission.
Oct. 20 - Homecoming Day. Ragin' Road Race at 8 a.m. Alumni Center Open House at 9:30 a.m. Homecoming parade at 10 a.m. Tailgating cook-off at 1:30 p.m. Ragin' Cajuns take on Florida Atlantic at Cajun Field at 4 p.m.
