Can't he still play in four games and not lose the redshirt? Not sure how many games he played in earlier this season. Chase Rogers could start playing in the USA game and not lose the redshirt even if we make the conference championship game. Not sure he is ready however.

The issue comes down to that Troy's DB's were physical with our WR's and we couldn't handle it. Loaded the box (and were disciplined about it) and locked us down in 1-1 coverage = shutting down ANY offense ... see Bama vs LSU.
App State and Troy were successful defensively because they had a lot more team speed than we did
