Re: Louisiana Announces Leadership Change In Men's Basketball Program
Gotcha. Yeah I assume he didn’t tell the team on Wednesday, b/c would think the news would have gotten out sooner than it did.
I am guessing he decided to leave yesterday.
I don’t look at him as “bailing” on his team. From his perspective (not knowing if the buyout drop was truly in play), he was told he wasn’t wanted, so why stay?

Right or wrong, that got Jen off social media. Make his life easier.
CBM is around 65. The personal pluses outweigh the headaches. He can go be a consultant elsewhere if need be.

Nail down her last debate time and you may nail down a window to when he decided.

Is there a name for this scenario?
"You will be fired"
"You can't fire me. I quit"

600 grand at most. Would not be surprised if it is less if he takes lump sum. No clue how it is being paid.

650k. Not privileged to exact framework or parties involved. Won’t divulge source, but he would know.
I would expect it may show in the state audit if ran thru RCAF.

Fans did quit on him because of poor performance and his attitude towards the fan base. Unfortunately for Marlin it’s the coaches job to perform and get the fan base engaged, not the other way around.

Would anyone out there want a new job where a subordinate actively campaigned for your new job?
Can you explain this? I did not get to listen to or read anything. What do you mean a subordinate was trying to get his job?
Re: Louisiana Announces Leadership Change In Men's Basketball Program
The slow downward spiral of the basketball program began with Marlin's seeming implementation of "3 games in March"

Marlin’s mistake was basically verbalizing that. It’s been 3 games in March since Marty.
And Robert Lee, lots of people overlook that mess.
