If they told Corey in Jan 2024 they aren't pursuing one, that means they don't want one nor want to hear it.

Do i agree with that stance? No.
Do i think they should have at least visited with the guy and heard him out? Yes

But anyone with half a brain realizes that message was them "closing the door" on the situation.

Say it doesnt align with our brand and values if that is the case. If that was said that should of been the end of it. .

I guess it’s partially true but i am saying he presented it several times its not the first time he emailed her. so just be honest.

I wonder where I'd be if I stopped pursuing my passion just because someone told me no. If you're not on board with him or what he's doing, just see yourself out. What is this insane obsession with trying to make him stop what he's doing? Its crazy how some are actually mad that hes not giving up. I was pretty neutral on the whole spirit leader/mascot issue, but ______, I'm gonna donate to that dudes cause now. Regardless if this comes to fruition or not. And I dont want my money back if it doesnt. I applaud that dudes efforts in working his ass off trying to make things better. You want to talk about a passion for your school? I can't imagine the time, effort and his own money he has spent getting this going. I hope that dude gets everything he's after.

I get the passion side. Most of us have felt dreams falling short.

Imagine finally getting a date with the girl of your dreams. You pull out all the stops, dump serious time and money for the date. You think you have a chance at the end of the evening this can work long term.

Then she drops the “you’re a great friend” card.

Know it sucks, but the deck is stacked and MH is the dealer.

Time to pull an “Elsa”. Appreciate the effort, but there’s been a definite no thrown out there. Is it really worth the effort knowing the outcome is set?

My biggest concern over all this is someone brought up the demographic of the fan base. UL isn’t figuring that out at all.
