Sorry, sounded like you were saying they were still in conference.
Yeah, I read it wrong the first time too. What he was saying was LR is in.....who cares what conference they are in.
When I read it the first time, quickly, I thought he meant that LR was in...the SBC. But after rereading it I see what he was saying.
To answer the question they are in the Ohio Valley Conference, that conference has Eastern Illinois, Lindenwood, LR, Morehead State, Tennessee Tech, UT Martin, Southeast Missouri State, SIU Edwardsville and Southern Indiana. Morehead State won the regular season with a 22-12 record. LR finished 9th with a 10-21 record.
Also while we are the name police for our team, Little Rock no longer wants to be called UALR, they athletically go by the name Little Rock Trojans or Little Rock. Similar to UNC-Charlotte dropping the UNC a few years back and going by University of Charlotte or Charlotte 49ers. If we are going to complain about others calling us the wrong name, we should at least adhere to other schools wishes.
Everyone but LSU A&M @ Baton Rouge, that is, they will always be LSUAM@BR to me.

I watched a few of Nw State's games this year, they were a good team.
Re: Is Marlin the guy for the program?
SOS for our last four coaches. I’ll let you guess who is who.
Coach A: SOS 200
Coach B: SOS 153
Coach C: SOS 150
Coach D: SOS 200

If I EXPECT to win the title every year, is that logical?
I WANT to win the title every year, but I don't expect it. I do EXPECT to see a team go out and compete each game and hopefully, win. This year's team was a very fun team to watch; they were very unselfish and showed great determination at the end of games.
I look forward to next year even though I know the team will look very different.
I also hope we are able to compete for another ncaa berth.
Where do 8th place finishes fit in the mix?

The cruel reality will be not all 8, much less all 5, will land at APU.

I understand what you’re saying but no one is going to make that change immediately after having a good season making the tourney. That discussion could have been merited after a couple of previous seasons but not now. In a what have you done for me lately world, he’s earned an extension

And that's why this conversation is misplaced. Timing matters.

Who is worse the RPCA or the RebClub?

It's exactly what we talked about. The thing that exacerbates this whole Marlin thing is the extreme factions on each side. The sycophants will sugar coat anything he fails at and the Big Fish'ers will dump on anything he accomplishes. It's the Tim Tebow effect.
We need more people who understand two things can be true at the same time: He has underachieved in several instances AND this year, he did a good job and earned his extension. Doesn't mean he gets a life time contract AND it doesn't mean he should be on a year to year contract with a base salary of potato chips.

They could if they follow their coach. Their leading scorer will be a grad transfer, so will AP have his program? Both he and another stater are transfers from Missouri State. They both can play.
