Never is an awfully long time....especially in regards to universities, which last for centuries, if not longer. A whole lot can happen in all that time.

But I do like LU.....certainly more than LARC

Interesting use of KU has nothing to do with anyone else in the state of Kansas but in reverence to Kentucky which used UK.

So, NO ONE outside of Acadiana knows of this acronym being used? I live in BR and don't know of them and their using "LARC".

I think LARC would work! Think about it from a NATIONAL perspective, not local.
