Perhaps it's my advanced age.....I've learned over the years to enjoy both.

Yeah, it was bad. Had to step out and get some air. The smell of fresh silkscreen was a bit much.

The bird must have heard the same post game press as the rest of us. Mike was very clear about how he felt about O line play.

Which is the most concerning: the unpleasant music often kills the very enthusiasm the music is supposed to stimulate.
At the same time, I very rarely see anyone getting fired up about the music. We are subjected to painful levels of speaker output, and as far as I can tell, it's not doing anything.
Or perhaps it's just not doing anything positive. We used to have the loudest crowds in college sports. I wonder if the acoustic abuse from the PA system has crushed that?
And from there, I wonder if the suppressed crowd enthusiasm has hurt attendance...
Dude bring some headphones

Great post.....
Too bad this wasn't read...
Revelation 18: 16 And saying, woe, woe, that great city, that was clothed in fine linen, and purple, and scarlet, and decked with gold, and precious stones, and pearls! 17 For in one hour so great riches is come to nought.

Same with me. Scanned the ticket in my Apple Wallet several times and several ways. Eventually I was told to just go on in.

Same. The line we were in, the lady's scanner wouldn't work. She was just looking at them and letting people in. I also like how they put the QR code on the scoreboard to scan for a digital roster, but there's no cell coverage to download it. Genius.

There were around 22K people there. The 18K is not right. Wish they would release paid attendance so we could see the difference. There were many missed scans as reported by a lot of people.

Paid attendance is what was released.

Makes sense cause students get in free right and there were about 2000 or more students there. Band gets in free as well. So that puts us over 20K. If you add that to “paid attendance”

And a couple hundred more YRCC members.

Re: Live Game Talk: Louisiana vs. Northwestern State
Anyone saying we underreported attendance needs to go and look at pictures of the home side. Upper deck and the lower level. The attendance was an improvement over our opener last year. With good play these next two weeks, hopefully we will actually be back in that 20K area for Buffalo.

How are the students accounted for?

Desormeaux finds silver linings on frustrating parts of Saturday's win
In Saturday’s late postgame news conference, UL coach Michael Desormeaux didn’t hide his disappointment in several aspects of his team's 38-13 season-opening win over Northwestern State.
But after watching the film, the second-year coach found some silver linings to even the biggest miscues of the game.
