G1 Final: Louisiana 24, SLU 7

So I’m watching the game again for the 4th maybe 5th time and I’m still finding new numbers on the field. We put like half the roster out there. I mean 65-70 players. Anybody know the participation numbers??

I hope we can continue playing that many. Best way to create depth and motivate players to keep working. They may have played a few more to get another look before establishing a set rotation.

I love how that FSU QB got smoked right in the kisser on that targeting penalty and delivered an absolute dime to the corner of the end zone. But yea, both QBs looked very good to me.

The LSU QB was their entire offense! The FSU QB surprised me with how good he was.

Yeah wouldn’t mind if he was a little banged up in November. A few others as well.

I just rewatched the game. Not much to add that hasn’t been said, except that whoever created the TD or turnover celebration stick thing must have gone with BN to Florida. I noticed in the highlights FL now has some kind of band leader stick and we don’t have that anymore. Not sad we don’t have that or the oversized spiky shoulder pads, unless it Jack’s our team up. Not sure exactly what the kiddos like anymore!
