Re: G1 Regional Final: Louisiana 2, Texas 4
If we continue to perform as we did today throughout the weekend I see us winning at least one game against a team not Maine . . . then anything can happen . . .

Our pitching kept us in the game and gave us multiple chances to win, which is all you can ask or expect. Nobody wins in college with two runs.
Our guys played great, especially on the pitching and defensive side. And we had some hard dings to make Texas earn out (and take away runs). Our defense played great as well backing up our pitchers.
If I weren’t a Cajuns fan, the game would have been much more enjoyable, at it was on point with what I like to see in baseball.

Guys, we played near flawless baseball and lost. Texas outfielders made spectacular play after spectacular play. Without those plays we beat the longhorns.

Yeah baseball got us is the only way to look at it.

I’m not an expert and I only followed the stats feed, but our guys were a little too impatient at the plate. We were getting 3 and out with only 5-6 pitches

Wait, wait, wait, 62 pitches was too many on April 28, but 76 is not on June 3 . . .

Correct.
Within reason arm stamina often increases as the season progresses.

Yes but that was with a couple days rest after an 18 pitch outing. Nezuh will only have 1 or 2 days (if we are moved to Monday because of weather) rest after a 76 pitch outing in the heat of the day . . .
