Big Recruit Visiting This Weekend.

D'Anthony Williams, a HUGE D-tackle from Pickering, is set to visit Lafayette this weekend or next. He's 6'3'', 312 lbs of mostly muscle, with an 18 on the ACT and a 3.2 GPA. Originally thought to be headed to Tech, he's between La. Tech, UL, ULM and Tulane. He would be a great sign. Just thought I'd let ya'll know...Geaux Cajuns!

Now that is some great news and hope to hear more like it. OleMissCajunFan I did not know that there were places in Mississippi that looked like advar?!?!?!?

Well, it's good news that he's considering, but now we need to pull him away from the other guys. I think we can do it. Oh, and DaddyCajun, I went to Ole Miss, but I actually live out in Hawaii right now...so I'm a long distance fan!

Thanks for the update, but I believ the prospect you are refering to is D'Anthony Smith. I just looked him up on rivals. Apparently he is the same size you mentioned, but he also runs a 4.9 forty. He is a 2 star prospect that recorded 95 tackles with 10 sacks as a junior. I am looking for stats from his senoir season.

I hope he is going to change his lean,word out of Ruston is he verbally committed to TECH.

Football Signing Day (5pm Wednesday)

When is the official signing day for football?

I keep hearing on the radio that our buddies 50 miles east are having a bash on Feb 1st. Is that the official signing day? Are we having something that night also?

Honestly I hope not because I will be in Houston that day & will hate to miss.
