Well Maggard isn’t but I’m sure he will take your concern into consideration. $500k would put us only ahead of ULM this year...we are adding 4 teams that all
Pay over that...Bowden was at $485 and will probably get a raise...$500k would put us dead last in coaching salary in the SBC next year..out of 14 teams....last. You either hatin or you didn’t bother to ponder the number you through out

The HC position here is worth $775k. It doesn’t matter who the person hired is. That is the starting point for our program.
I’d like to see $3M is assistant/analyst pool to go with that as well.

Just stop dude. I’m 100% certain Desormeaux would have followed Napier to Florida if he didn’t get the job here and was offered a position.
We will be successful next season and likely win 8-10 games. At that point he will be a bargain.

Think you are probably right and as noted a lot more goes into this than "Mike ain't goin nowhere". I was actually expecting higher. I'm fairly certain the state limits salaries to around 200k and anything else is private money. So if some people want to pony up who cares what the salary is.

Again, if you pay the HC $500,000, what will you pay the coordinators? $350-400? What would we get with that? If anything, I want coordinators with more proven experience simply because we do have a young coach.
