I'm not knowledgeable about the situation, but I find that hard to believe. Why would Hud put him in instead of giving Haack more work?

I'm wondering if he has spent as much time working on his game plans the past few weeks as he has spent proof reading his resume. He no longer seems to be able to inspire his team. It leads one to wonder why the team no longer gets fired up for him....
