Re: BB G1 Final: Louisiana 11, Coastal 9
BIG win for the Cajuns. Especially satisfying beating a Coastal team that can swing it. One down, two to go.

Lucky for us I don't think Coastal pitching is near as good as their hitting.

We actually have the lowest team ERA in the Sun Belt and it is still hard to watch.
Deggs says we need double digit runs to win. He is correct.

Just FYI, the injury that has kept Theut out for the last month or whatever, was something with his back, not his elbow.
Re: BB G1 Final: Louisiana 11, Coastal 9
It is really sad for the kid because he had a great night tonight against the best of hitters.
He picked up the win with 5 innings pitched, no earned runs on 62 pitches.

He was not stretched out regardless of why was out. Being used to the workload is the issue.
Sometimes guys try to pitch "around" a physical problem and hurt something else, especially if they are not "stretched out".
Nice win, but we will need to slug our way anywhere we want to go. That much is obvious, but everybody else is in the same boat. Pitching is bad everywhere.
