That explains why I see things change from day to day without seeing any activity. Must be a crew from the North and not used to the heat down here. They are not a local crew (or Contractor doing earthwork) as most of their equipment is rented. (even the dump trucks). Since the equipment is rented I figure they want to finish ASAP to avoid additional rental costs.
I wonder if they can get a concrete truck through the tunnel. If not they will have to pump. I guess if they work at night I won't find out.

Signage...bad idea. The signs they put and the black paint above the student section side looks cheesy. I hope they don't continue in this fashion.
Bricks...good idea. At least it will look somewhat nice.
They could always wrap a banner around the wall for this season, something red. That wouldn't be too bad.

I'm kidding mainly... but I do believe we have a little more to contend with at Cajun Field, just due to the nature of the drainage system under the field. As for no work progress... who knows? It could be that they discovered something during preparation, waiting on something in the process, can't make progress until something is settled/cured... don't know.
I was kidding about McNeese's contractor having skipped some steps... but, I would prefer to know that we installed our field the right way, to last and stay in tip top form, than to meet an aggressive deadline... other than the deadline of the first home opener. JMHO

My understanding is the signs will not be painted like above the student section, but hanging signs that can be easily removed. These are to be temporary to hide the black wall and until they can put up the brick wall.

Passed by for lunch today, and they have the concrete poured over the gravel bed for about half the path around the stadium wall, and the rest looked to be formed up awaiting concrete. Didn't see anyone working, so I'm assuming they have some halt in the process. They did have a dozer working on spreading the dirt on the second outdoor practice field.
Re: Real Time Swamp Floor Happenings
I checked the statium feed last night, based on a previous posting that they saw lights, and I could slightly make out the field area with several vehicles. When checking before at night, the screen would be totally blacked out. So, I'm assuming, there must be some activity going on during the night hours.

Always looks like it is aimed at the stars to me. If you saw the field it wasn't because of a full moon. http://stardate.org/nightsky/moon/
Re: Real Time Swamp Floor Happenings
Would not show shots of field. Will try again on another post. Yes they are working at night and not during the day.
