Barely miss playoff
Two P4 wins - one in a decent bowl game
DIDNT lose by 50 to Ohio State
NOT the team everyone uses as an example to remove the G5 bid
Door open to market the hell out of "next year"
Look at 4 of the last 5 National Championship games, all blow outs.
Make the CFP regardless of the result of the game. The fricken CFP payout alone is $4M to the program! One appearance is 10% of our budget.

I’m not sure why this is even a question. Why would you not want to get into the inaugural 12 team playoff? It sets a precedent going forward for a program. This is a no brainer.

there are no viable reasons to not want to be in the CFP, any CFP . . .
Re: Ragin Cajun CFP chances
The First year of a 12 team CFP and Cajuns are in contention.
If that isn't prime time mktg material, I dont know what is.

I always thought it was split after expenses of the team. Just like bowl games. So just spend it all and share nothing

I don't think it's a question, it's just out of our hands right now. All we can do is win and let the rest take care of itself.

No not for this
4. Each conference whose team participates in the College Football Playoff will receive $3 million to cover expenses for each round

Conference sets what it believes are reasonable expenses.... $X for the game.
