I'm not a fan of Lochridge at 3rd, but I'm also not a fan of Windham's bat. So I don't know what the answer is. I also felt MUCH more confident with Monica at first. Im prejudiced to a BIG target at first. A lot of the throwing errors should have been routine cover ups for a good first baseman.
Has anyone run the number in Unearned runs and how many w's the errors have cost us?
I’ll take lochridge (who will make errors, converted SS) over a a guy that cant hit any day

Re: G3 Louisiana 2, Maryland 1
Based on recent years success and the fact that this is a robe coached team, I believe the defense will settle in and be near the top of the belt. Hitting CANNOT get any less timely, and pitching will thin out the bullpen by process of elimination.
Texas handled LSU so far this weekend
Sam Houston is playing well against some p5s.
I think the 7 game stretch to start was pretty salty. That mixed with subpar play of our own got us behind the 8 ball early.
Cantrelle and Lahare have been shells of themselves. kasuls, who is a lead by example guy was out.
I think we can win 2/3 of our games remaining, problem is with the start we end up around 34-22 regular season. Right around where we were last 2 years. We all know where that got us.

Without decent pitching we would probably be winless.
It is encouraging we figured out how accept gifted wins. Baby steps.
Re: G3 Louisiana 2, Maryland 1
Hitting regressed to early 2018 levels batting .160 this weekend. Defense is well below any Cajun team in recent memory. Pitching saw some growth this weekend and will need to man up immediately to see .500 at the end.
I have no faith in the offense, the defense, or baserunning. Sad bcuz most these guys are upperclassmen Hopefully that is restored this year.
