And we tied for the FBS lead for blown leads this year…with stAte. When it happens four times, it’s on the HC.
Not calling for a change, but 6-6 won’t cut it next year.

I'm afraid it will cut it due to limited funds.

Then football will be headed to the MBB model. Dwindling support, just those in the inner circle care to fight to death defending. We might be there now.

We just finished Year 1 in Football. Basketball is in Year 13.
There's a huge difference here.

The support is definitely dwindling for football.

Re: I-Bowl Final: Louisiana 16, Houston 23
It's the inaugural Dez year. We hoped for better but it didn't work out like we hoped. It wasn't a disaster. Move forward and hope for the best. Ps, we saw next year's QB 1 play last 2 games. It's not Chandler.

Don’t be fooled there is more money available than most think.

If Smith doesn't fumble we win the game. We gotta keep the defensive coordinator and get a better offensive coordinator. JMO

Napier salary last year and the bump he was offered to stay. Money may be tight but the well is not as dry as some seem to believe. Not sure how long you have followed this university but there is more money at Martin hall.

And it isn't being used for sports.

Simply because people can't or won't recognize where football stands in the stream of time.

CMD could go 6-6 for the next 3 years at least before his seat gets hot. Not saying he will, but this is UL guys. Mediocrity absolutely does cut it here.

The bump he was offered wasn't from the university.

They didn't score on either fumble.
Thanks defense.
With UL driving like they were, it was still probably a 10 point swing.

If you watched this game and your main concern is on the defensive side of the ball I do not know what to tell you.

Yeah, their coaches went from letting our players kick their player's asses, to their players kicking our guy's asses. Quite an adjustment. the bottom line is UL imposed their will on Houston in the first half & in the second half Houston got their goat. Never did I feel the game was in doubt until Smith fumbled the ball on the goal line. Clearly, he did not learn a lesson from his counterpart on the other side of the ball who put the ball on the ground taking points away from them. Smith should have realized the importance of ball security plain & simple.
