It was a $200K decision at a minimum for him, as his buyout dropped from $600K to $400K after the season. I’m curious if he would have still been due the $400K if he chose the retirement option. If not, it becomes a $600K decision.

Always follow the money. It’s just like NIL, the biggest payday. 200k swing, didn’t leave it on the table.

Would anyone out there want a new job where a subordinate actively campaigned for your new job?
