Don't think this is telling either way. He was never going to play in the NBA. Was always going overseas so that option is still out there.

Yes, overseas is still in play here, also another transfer, but that seems incredibly unlikely, as I believe he would have to sit out another year, since he has transferred twice already. It appears he is coming back to the Cajuns and/or going overseas to play. I hope it is the former and not the latter.

Forgot about that, yes so overseas and transfer would still be in play, but I do believe the transfer would be less likely than the overseas.

Here is my best guess:

60% Chance of Playing back for the Cajuns in 2023/24
30% Chance playing overseas
10% Chance he takes another transfer

I hope selfishly he comes back, he is becoming one of my favorite all time players for the Cajuns. I am sure he is getting good advice from his team (by this I mean his external team, not the Cajuns teammates/family and Coaches and other influences.

If he comes back and we add a couple of small pieces (still think we need to find a big body to replace Terrance Lewis III as a transfer now that we don't have Richards) if that is the case, this team can be really good next season.

If/when he plays college ball this upcoming season it will be for Bob Marlin

I wouldn't mind if we took a flyer on a 6'5 190 lb walkon from STM that played JUCO ball last year just a few miles down the road......

Considering he never received an invitation to the pre-draft camp, and hasn't shown up on any pre-draft list in the Top 70 draft eligible athletes, this was expected. He can return here, play overseas or hit the transfer portal.
