What Teams get left out of the Playoffs?

Schools cant "claim" their own national championship unless a certain poll claims them national champion. This is why UCFs "claim" was pointless and noone took serious....otherwise it was like when Michael Scott declared bankruptcy by just screaming "I DECLARE BANKCRUPTCY" to the office....

I will buy the FSU National Champion T shirt if the make them.

. . . but they could hang a banner which would be shown on TV for every game in the future, just because . . .
