What Should be Louisiana's New Mascot?

At Louisiana the fandom/mascot/spirit leader relationship is unique.

Louisiana Ragin Cajuns "own" gators, they themselves are not gators.

Never forget ...

Gator is a no-brainer. Find an albino white alligator to relocate to the campus swamp to go along with Albineaux the game mascot!

. . . we really could do some neat things with the Gator . . . the love ones and the mascot uniform . . . kids and adults alike would just love them . . . they are all over Cajun country and most of the people who make a living from the gator in Louisiana could not be more Cajun . . . gators in Louisiana live in the most Cajun of areas, including on our campus . . . how have we missed this opportunity for so long . . . besides are the Phillies fans all Fanatics . . . Look at that thing . . . but one of the greatest mascots in the history of mascots . . .
