im sure there is much of it at the flagship of this state, but im sure I will be accused of putting the tin-foil back on when I ask, why are they made of Teflon, and their acts never get reported. it is truly unbelievable.... good video on dave Schultz site about the civil war movie.
Re: Announcement from Administration about the Tigue
We are now in July. Season starts in 7 months. The silent phases continues. Pretty unprofessional and not good business on behalf of the university to STILL have not said one peep about if and when this project will proceed when everything u read or heard on radio was..."as soon as the last pitch is throw, renovations will begin..."

"as soon as the last pitch is throw, renovations will begin..." This statement is only believed by, well hell who believes it?

This reminds me of a 2010 thread titled "Softball Park Construction". Lots of posts in that thread in regards to the softball stadium not being fully completed as promised for the start of the 2011 softball season. My guess is that the renovations to the Tigue will be just like as it was for Lamson Park back in 2010-2011. The season will start with the renovations not being completed and the season will be played with some portion of the renovation being completed and other portions still being worked on. Some fans might have to bring a lawn chair for part of the season in order to watch the game!

cubs were doing fine while playing during construction

The Cubs also had a grandstand to sit in. The construction was all in the outfield.

Bottom Line, with "Louisiana" T-Joe breaks no law.
If however he kowtows to the threat of a future law, they have already achieved law without law.
Hypothetically

Wow, has the grandstand been completely demolished?

I try to make people understand this. But they still think the great fans of this university are robots that just show up wearing red. The same group that's the loudest cheering section is also the most demanding fan. And when we stop caring, the UL stadiums, fields and courts will be lifeless.
Even this post about a low point and "people talking about Robe being fired" years back. Three people made that comment. And one of them only said it in comparison to others wanting to fire the basketball coach for 2 unspectacular seasons in a row. It was never a forum thing.
And even this Tigue thing... I'm still not sure that some of the accusations aren't true... or are partial truths. Jay is FOS storming off this forum and calling a bunch of us "faceless buffoons". There is a funding issue, and the damn stadium is going to be delayed. What was so diabolical in the accusations made on this forum? Even if they were wrong... or their sources weren't precisely correct... it's been proven that something was not managed well going into the start of construction.
The university and Jay owe this forum an apology. The low point was achieved when it became true that something got dicked up... and the university won't even explain the truth about it. THAT is a low point!

The problem is it was BOP that was caught with his pants down and now claims he was mislead. The problem for him and his defenders is between the PM's I've received and other sources, the accusations have been pretty consistent. The main inconsistency in most post was the cost of the project, my number has been the entire cost from day one, $16 Mil to $17 Mil. Unfortunately he was mislead because his information comes primarily from one source, the very person he tries defend to the end. And that person is trying to find a scapegoat for his own incompetence.

Big demolition starts in two weeks.
