I figured that or a ULMer who's ____ed that UL at L and Tech will now be funded at 100%. Sadly, I fear that ULM and Grambling will still be funded at 120%...it's a shame that our state is rewarding the mediocre and putting those who are making the most of the money they get at a disadvantage.

Anyone know who controls the pepper and who makes decisions as to when and where his appearances are? i'll send an e-mail and I'll get a list of names of people who don't want him or his on-fire logo's, and then we'll be done with it.

On a different subject and I don't think it's you in particular but I noticed some of you on the Latexster forum seem to be under the assumption that UL's travel budget is the same as Latex's.

If you look at the FY 2005-2006 state audits (most recent available) you will see ours was about $1.04 million whereas Latex's was $1.61 million. Now, I know Latex is rolling in dough and all but as they say, "the facts is the facts".

These numbers seem to reflect the current geographical realities of WAC and SBC membership.

Is that all? I was under the impression the travel costs would bankrupt Tech. $600,000 is paid for with one road game.
