Some more names and questions?
That's some great insight into the RB situation, thanks! What does is the outlook at the wide reciever position? Other than Jackson is Bustle recruiting Kentrell Gransbury, Kenneth Guidroz, Vinnie Navarre, Justin Plummer or Devondric Tezeno?
It sounds like Bustle has got some pretty good guys at DE, a position I thought the Cajuns were already pretty deep at. Is Bustle recruiting either Josh Muse or Antron Dillion? How about DT's, is he after DJ Ernst or Jonathan Landor? Thanks in advance for any information you can provide.

LAFAYETTE - Louisiana's football program added its first wide receiver prospect of the recruiting period this week with the signing of Kemmie Lewis of Jones (Miss.) Junior College.
Lewis, a 6-foot-2, 190-pounder, is the fourth junior college signee for the Ragin' Cajun squad and the third that will enroll at the university this spring in time for spring practice.
"That'll help me get to know the offense really well," said Lewis, an honorable mention NJCAA Region 23 selection. "I'll be learning the players and the plays."
Lewis joins defensive tackle Darryl Blappert of Slidell-St. Amant (Pearl River) and defensive back Ricky Thomas of Junction City, Kan.-Junction City (Butler CC) as mid-term juco signees.
The Cajuns have also inked defensive back Antoine Spann of Oceanside, Calif.-El Camino (Miss. Gulf Coast), who will enroll in the fall. Spann was the Most Valuable Defensive Player in Mississippi's junior college all-star game two weeks ago.

UL Lafayette has also received commitments from 11 high school players heading into national signing day in February. One of those, offensive lineman Will Chance of Cecilia, received his diploma in December, will enroll in the spring and go through spring drills.
Lewis caught 40 passes for over 700 yards as a sophomore at Jones JC, helping lead his squad to an 8-5 record, the state playoffs and a spot in the Heart oF Texas Bowl in Copperas Cove, Texas, against Trinity Valley. As a freshman, Jones went 10-1.
The native of Collins, Miss., was a two-year wide-out starter at Collins High but lacked test scores for initial eligibility and wound up 30 minutes away from home at Jones.
"That's one thing I liked about it there," Lewis said of UL Lafayette. "It's close to home so my parents can come and see me play. They were one of the only schools that offered me, and I really liked coach (Rickey) Bustle and coach (Shawn) Quinn. They did a good job of keeping in touch with me."
Lewis visited the Cajun campus in December.
"I saw their offense there and the formations they run," he said. "It's similar to Jones, and I think I fit in well with that. It's a young staff and they're trying to get the right people in there. We're gonna rebuild and have a good season."

HighSchool Recruiting Update
 There is some news coming out of Baton Rouge on several prospects the Cajuns are recuiting.Newman QB Damion Carter has committed to S.Miss last week.It seems that commitment is solid. It seems that a few things may change for prospects from O.P.Walker.DB Daryl Johnson and DL Domminc Cooper may head to Baton Rouge as well soon.Rumor has it that coach Sabin will offer O.P.Walker head coach a position on his staff. If this does indeed hold true, look for those prospects to follow their coach to Baton Rouge. Now that Chijuan Mack is eligible, more schools are taking notice.Okla.St. was at Woodlawn Monday to talk to Mack.LSU has told Mack that if several prospects that they are offering commit elsewhere, they are going to offer him also.Stay tuned,it looks like some of these decisions will come down to the wire.Tasmin Knockum is scheduled to visit next week.
