Re: In-Game Thread: Louisiana (40) vs. ULM (24) FINAL
Dayum!!!!! That is definitely not Rickey ball.
That is Berry's problem not having a safety back there. He knew we were going for it. He had his guys up here trying to get he ball and rushing TB. It's not like they waved the white flag. And if Browning hadn't gotten hurt he would have had no problem running up the score. Screw his butthurt!

The UL DB coach had some words for Moanroe HC and they had a Moanroe asst coaches separate/walk off the UL DB coach.
Somebody give up the scoop on this. Where are Peloquin and Bird?

Re: In-Game Thread: Louisiana (40) vs. ULM (24) FINAL
Stupid to jailbreak blitz. He deserved it. Berry is an imbecile that had a great player covering for him.

No reason for the ULM coach to be mad. ULM was selling out to make a play with the Cajuns deep in their own end ... meanwhile the Cajuns were simply trying to drain the time remaining on the clock. One of the ways to do that is run around the end zone (hopefully without fumbling) and hoping that you do not get tackled in the end zone for a safety while leaving time on the clock.
Not my preferred method ... and not Hud's either.
Another is to max protect and toss the ball deep down the field (draining the clock in the process). You send a receiver on the route to help mitigate a potential INT. In this case it sounds like ULM did not have a DB in coverage ... similar to a punt block formation where you send all eleven defenders. ULM did not concede so the Cajuns did what they needed to do in that situation.

Re: In-Game Thread: Louisiana (40) vs. ULM (24) FINAL
Who do I believe the ULM fans or my lying eyes? I was busying doing some cooking so I wasn't paying attention %100 on the end of the game. They are saying it was a fake punt. I saw Broadway throw the last TD pass. If you bring the house and the QB sees someone open, you can't blame him for going to the juggler.

A fake punt without our punter in the game ha ha It was a fake fake punt.

Re: In-Game Thread: Louisiana (40) vs. ULM (24) FINAL
I really liked the playcalling on both sides of the ball except... the pure zone prevent and going ultraconservative on O late.

Re: In-Game Thread: Louisiana (40) vs. ULM (24) FINAL
That was a great way to ensure clock goes to zero. Monroe sold out on blitz.....perfect counter punch call. Also made the offensive stats very very impressive for Broadway. Great redemtion game.

It might be Moonshine season up in Monroe?

No joke! My wife and I went from one gate to another and back to the original due to poor directions from the stadium staff. They clicked us each time we went through, so they counted us as six instead of only two…
