New Boudin shop just opened on Johnston street just past Doucet in the old Sophie P cupcake shop. Bourques specialty’s. Had the balls, eggrolls, boudin, cracklins and sausage, jalapeño and cheese bread. Was a rough evening! All were as good or better then Billy’s plus 1 mile from my house without the obnoxious lines. Will be perfect to stop in on game days!

I totally forgot about Bourques. I understand it is the bomb.

Just wanna say that it is a shame we won't be able to show our App friends the full Saturday Cajun Field Tailgate experience. With the buzz around town, that would have been an epic Saturday.

Can you take 1/2 day vacation Thursday morning. I did that regularly when I lived there for key week night basketball games. Well worth it.

Lots of administrators, players, and coaches pushing the game on their Twitter pages. Glad to see the effort being put out. I just don't know if there are that many folks who care about us anymore due to all the media focus on the P5 programs. Don't think we will truly know from this game due to the weeknight situation. Coach Napier did go a little further than normal in his comments encouraging folks to attend. Challenged the fans to show up. I think all our fans that can make it will. I just don't know how many can and how many we truly have anymore.

Historically our big crowds had strong student attendance and/or large visitor crowds. Since I expect App St to have a small contingent, a large attendance (25,000+) will only happen if the students show up. It will be interesting to see if they are as excited as people here on RP.

My son is a senior. He said there is a buzz going on like he has never seen. P.S, thats including all his friends, across all sexes and races.. Great sign.
