I probably go to as many games as you. Saturday the home side was not available. So on Saturday, if you would have gone, you would know that all that was available was to either sit or stand in the sun . . .

Yes the exertion of standing could make it hotter.
But and however, in 2010 HelmutVII educated me on how sitting could actually be hotter.

I would suspect that that would be several hours after the sun goes down. The fans on the student side were in fact baked by the hot stadium seats/concrete radiating heat from below and also from the sun above. A no win and dangerous situation.
Stadiums that are not built into the ground have the advantage of radiating heat to the air below the seats and air above the seats and they cool off much faster.
Re: Game Day Planning…. Not Acceptable
I always wondered why there were not upgrades made to the visiting concessions area to account for this year. We’ve known this was coming for years and did nothing to accommodate the abrupt change. But hey, at least there’s a new ribbon board up there! The attitude is suck it up for the last 4 home games, and maybe if we don’t give them water, then there will be less people for us to handle to finish out the year

When is the university gonna make changes to the concessions issues ? It’s all the sports that has Sodexho. Something has to change with the poor communication , running out out of items and overall performance . This has been an issue for a very long time . Hopefully that this issue can be brought up at the next rcaf meeting .
