I would be shocked if ULM isn’t top 4 at the end of the year. They have already been through the toughest road weekend trip of the year. Even though they came out with 2 losses they also came away with a major chip on their shoulder that will carry through the rest of the season.

Way too much is made about shoulder chips. Worse than 4th or I buy ya a lunch at walk ons, 5th or worse ya buy me one. Seems fair enough. Tied for 4th with 5th, or multiple ties the bets nullified. Of course tied for 3rd and 4th ya win.

Being a very average team in a poor conference is where this program is and has been since Marlin took over. One NCAA appearance in 9 years is where we are and if that’s ok let’s keep Marlin. But for 500k a year we should expect more...
