One thing we do agree on is that it is unreasonable to expect to perform as well as last year at this point with three guys missing. That is especially the case when you consider we are missing two freshman we were counting on. They are hopeful Gladney gets the OK to practice within the next few days and he may play soon after that. That may help our depth issue.
Mike, I'm always hoping to eat crow burgers when it comes to the Big Fish. I honestly hope he doesn't lose another game in 2018/19 and walks away with a national trophy. I honestly hope he gets that bigger pay day he's coveted since day one at UL. I'm absolutely certain he's always given everything he can to actually coaching the team.
I'm also certain he could have done a lot more in money raising, and scheduling.
Again I'm hoping for crow burgers all year long.

Shown above is a post about today from the Tulane message board. They are obviously frustrated. I would be too if the result had turned out different. I feel the guy's pain but in the end that makes the win more enjoyable for us. I will not however comment on their forum. No need to gloat when we have plenty of issues ourselves.
What board is that?

Scheduling wise, he could have done more. That would have required us to play more road games. I am certain they have done all they can to get home games with the understanding they won't play mid majors unless it is home and home. Now if you take that requirement out, things could be different. Going forward, the new conference format and planned scheduling alliance will make that much less of an issue.

Heard today we have a few guys playing through injury. That may be why the shooting decreased as the tournament went on as they had to play three consecutive days. Thankful we have a week off to get healthy. Agree there are more important things to be thankful for and my family is doing that today.

Can’t get a pass on scheduling until he’s actually tried to raise funds to buy some real division I games. He hasn’t come close, those rebounder club don’t come close Mike. And again I’m not ignoring the actual record against decent programs.
But those issues aren’t for a week beating the Lamers.

Gant is battling tendonitis in his knee but fought through it to be named to the All-Tournament team.
