Well if you don’t trust the person then don’t donate.
You donate it goes to an external account, its not like that person who is doing the gofundme has access to your account also the person doesnt know who donated!
Plus if the money was used and the costume was built what you gonna tell the mascot company you didnt want it?
Please be realistic!!

Corey said he would present the next phase on Saturday. Let’s wait for additional information before prejudging.

Serious?
One of your first three was already answered before you asked. Another was future dated before you asked. I know, you are accustomed to getting info in advance, but why would you ask him to move up the release of info and then hold it against him when he stuck to his announced timeline?

You like to send people to certain posts. See post #1
He said "official gofundme campaign to raise money to build the suit."

LOUISIANA, where Red means Geaux and Albineaux means Sheaux.

Re: 01.11.25 Phase Three for Albineaux: Time to Build the Suit
I suggested earlier that Albineaux's theme song should be Frankenstein by the Edgar Winter Group.
I also suggested earlier that A.I. stands for Albineaux Intelligence.
Now I have a joke. Do you know Albineaux's favorite sheet music?

Seems like someone trying to make a buck off of something that will never get approval.

Half way through year three of the endeavor with many asking for proof of concept says you are off on your assessment.

Re: 01.11.25 Phase Three for Albineaux: Time to Build the Suit
I personally don't like the concept...
But to say Cory is trying to make money off this is laughable. You guys have seen the work he has produced (whether you like it or not); he has done all that for free. You expect him to produce a version of the suit for free as well?
I know Corey. Haven't talked to him in a few years, but I know he's a good guy. If you like the concept and want to see UL get a grassroot mascot, then donate. If you dont want to donate, then dont donate...but dont question the motives of a guy who has already spent a lot of time on a project and looking to bring it to life.
From a legal standpoint, you guys arent donating to get a mascot admitted to a game. You are donating to bring a mascot to life in the hopes that the administration will buy in and it becomes a UL mascot. I dont recall Corey ever stating otherwise

Albineaux is the official unofficial mascot of UL. That means I don’t own him. Anybody can make anything with a white alligator with red eyes to rep their Cajun pride. That’s the beautiful thing about a good spirit leader, which we’ll have sooner rather than later!

Why does the legal part have to come into play?

I’m working on my school work while making sure everything is aligned for tomorrow’s campaign presentation.
The two of you asking questions have already made up your mind. That is fine! I respect that! However, it seems like you want to play some “gotcha” game. And also I don’t like engaging with people who are accusing me of trying to take people’s money when I’ve stated my intentions for doing this for almost two years now.
I’m not anyone’s enemy. All this vitriol is kind of ridiculous because all this about is just putting a kid in a costume. People can either like it or not. But that’s beautiful thing to me! I’m giving everyone a choice; a choice they never had before when it came to spirit leaders.
I have no political, institutional, or financial power in this push. I’m relatively unknown alum that has passion, creativity, and is ready to put in hard work to do something possibly very special. If this campaign doesn’t work, we’ll have our that Albineaux or a gator isn’t the thing. But if it works, it’ll be one of the best underdogs stories in mascot history. If you want to know more about me and this project, you can Google any of the interviews I have done on the news and the radio.
For everyone who hopefully hasn’t made up their mind already and wants an answer to the fundraiser question: I’m an indie filmmaker. Part of my job is know how to fundraise for projects that connect to people. I have to know how to pitch projects that have clear end goals for merit, impact, and cost benefit. When you look at the documents tomorrow, I’ll be happy to clear up any confusion.
