In the fall absolutely true but casual football fans are not going watch spring practice.

Prople forget but Tom Sawyer proved you can get casual fans and even anti fans to do anything if you convince them it will be fun.
Paint the fence of interest and you will get them in and keep them in.

Logic is on your side because they've never tried to 'spring' one on us.

See how well you read. I never said I missed it. Never referred to myself as one not seeing anything about the spring game. Either way, I'm glad you're not in charge of marketing athletics. Anyone defending this administrations marketing has extremely low standards. Looking forward to sitting in a packed house, as usual, since we've maxed out our marketing potential.
All one needs to do is just look at our history and can clearly see how we've been able to pack the house for every game.

Well everyone always said winning would but that didn’t work either. Marketing won’t do it either, there is only one way to do it and that’s students. That’s who becomes life long season ticket holders. Until they leave the students alone nothing will change.

Considering we have limited resources I’m okay with them not wasting them on an event that would just be okay at best, it would never live up to any hype. Even at the biggest programs it’s only the hardcore fans that go to spring games.

I feel like every extra person you get to a spring game will pull 10 more into the regular sealson.
An exciting off season spring football event is probably the single best use assets with the highest possible ROI come regular season.
Of course that is just my oppinion sprinkled with projection.

And somehow out of all the college football programs in the country you are the only one to think of this? Well about 3000 were at the spring game so there’s your 30k…let’s see if your theory is correct

If you call yourself a fan and didn’t know the Spring Game was on Saturday, shame on you.

After weeks of spring coverage and knowing spring practice ends with a spring game, I tend to agree.
